Just now, 3 of 4 tires popped. I felt a brief rumbling on the highway. I thought it was just stones. At least I have free towing.

I just planned on buying on building a new computer.. not any more.

couple months ago, someone stole my Bosch Icons, I've been in a couple hit and run incidents(I was the one hit), now this. I might as well replace all four tires, balance them and an alignment. I hate friggin' hate cars.

As told to me years ago by my dad and you can insert your own subject ..If you didn't have a ...car... you wouldn't have... car... troubles ,,,, besides when it rains it pours. Honestly I really have no love for cars other than transportation myself.

BJ and Costco have a 70 dollars off coupons if you're looking to get new tires. I prefer BJ because their price is usually much better than Costco for the tires I get. Also, they warranty service is great. Costco has better staffing though, around 7-10 guys instead of just 1 or 2 at BJ.

Wonder if it has anything to do with your username.

Had you run over anything in the road? Hope your luck gets better.

Look at the bright side. When the next shoe drops you won't even flinch. When something comes along and attempts to put splinters in my behind ..I tell it that it has to get in line behind the two porcupines that got there first.

They say in counseling circles it's better for all the bad stuff to hit at the same time. Eg don't have your wife leave you, wait a month, your dog die, wait six weeks, your roof leaks. Rip that band-aid off!

Could you imagine if you replaced each tire individually as they blew with gas station no name cheapies? You'd have different wear rates, tread patterns on every corner!

Also consider going used, what are you running, 195/60/15? They're wicked common in the junkyards here.

So, they're not repairable?

OP -- some would say *hit happens. my dad would say to quit whining -- it's part of life. some would say karma.watch for low flying planes when you're in a streak of bad luck.at any rate, you're due for a lucky break. soon.

Your answer is any Self-service Junkyard.

From the parts price list at UPI in Elm Mott, TX:

"Tires on steel wheels, any size...$15.95 each...no core charge"

$1 to walk in the yard with your lug wrench, then roll a wheelbarrow out to some Elantra, spend $48 and tax and you're good to go.

Now go do that, then come home, get on the Egg, and build that computer!

edit: tires on mag/aluminum wheels are all of $22.95 each, by the way...

Like my grandfather used to tell me when I was young,

"Anything with *its or tires is gonna cause you problems!"

Sounds like you live in Miami...Since moving here I have had 7 blowouts [almost got killed twice when 2 blowouts happend at 75-80 mph]..Also been rear ended 6 times [hit and run 4 times] by people not paying attention.

I never had these problems living in Times Square in NYC or even traveling cross country.

BTW there are hit and runs down here on a daily basis.
