Seems like most filters from China, Thailand, Vietnam etc come with shrink wrap on the open end. The American made ones don't.

I've never seen a pre-lubed oil filter. I only have experience with Fram, Honda, Motorcraft, and O'Reilly's MicroSelect though.Anyone seen them on filters that don't have lube on the gasket?
