I would say that I would go with the manuf. recomendation, but I do find it hard to digest that the same motor calls for a 5w20 in the US and a 5w30 in the rest of the world.

The same engine specs other oils in the rest of the world.

My Honda is quite smooth on 30 weight, but I use 20 in the winter.
