The 330 wasn’t unusual. It was used by Ford in Medium duty trucks for a lot of years and was a very good engine. It had a bunch of differences from the regular 360/390 - like forged crank and a better water pump and some other stuff I can’t remember. We had a couple growing up in medium duty trucks. Way underpowered but lasted a long time.They had other ideas I can't think of right now. As I said that was 1996 and they were still running 1973 f350's with an unusual 330 cuin Ford FE engine and a manual 4 speed. The big trucks were Chevrolet with the 366 and a 5 speed. Neither had AC.
