The "best" jeans I've found are made by Duluth Trading Company. They are thick heavy work jeans what stand up to abuse better than Carhartts. Sadly they are made overseas.
Levis are good jeans for casual wear and fit me well. Their political affiliations bother me.
I can't stand the "cowboy cut" Wranglers. The heavier denim relaxed fit are much better for me. Living here you eventually have to go to someone's "Cowboy" wedding. (not a one of them is actually a "cowboy" except on the dance floor of a honky-tonk)
This means squeezing into a pair of rigid starched Wranglers that threaten to castrate me by crushing if I try to sit down.
Well I bought couple pairs of. Wrangler rugged wear classic fit. 15 bucks a pair and some of the money goes to support injured soldiers which is nice. My buddy was actually wounded in afghanistan and was blown up by a vehical ied. Was all over the news and everything. Everyone was amazed he lived so it means a great deal to me that they do give some money to help them.

Wrangler for me as well. I do like Levis, but the relaxed fit or loose ones retail for 50 bucks around here; I can get 3 pairs of Wranglers or Kirklands for that price.
