I have an 02 Tundra that is driven about 4-7K per year and I changed from Royal Purple and put some synpower in it my last oil change. I changed the oil back in Aug and I have about 1,600 miles on the oil as of today. Most people will say change it at 6 months regardless of mileage. My last Blackstone UOA at 2,900 miles on Royal Purple looked pretty good. Blackstone told me to run the oil to 4K regardless of the age of the oil. Here is the link for it. https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/posts/976437/

If you look at the post, go down the page just a lil where "Bill in Utah" reposted my numbers. The oil was in service for 11 months.

I am disappointed that there is no comment for a > 6 month OCI with SynPower from others. I know the Amsoil crowd would say much longer.

If I had mentioned Syntec I am sure I would have been killed.

I'm gonna leave Synpower in my truck for about a year. I had RP in my Tundra for 11 month with 2,900 miles and had a used oil analysis done on it and it looked good. Blackstone said go 4K regardless of mileage. I'll give it a shot. Right now it has been about 5 months and I have about 1,600 miles on it.
