I only have 2 brands to choose from for my Jeep Rubicon: Fram XG 16, or K&N HP-2004(costs twice as much than Fram). Been using Mobil 1 since first oil change, drive only 4-5K miles a year, most in city traffic.
Which oil filter for my Rubicon?

Since you only have two choices I will put it this way...... K@N - better filter, stronger built, more $.
Fram - Cheaper filter, cheaper $.
I'd bet a $100 your motor will last just as long with a Fram as it would with the K@N so it comes down to how much do you want to pay.

Greaser: The other brands are made in Mexico and pretty obsolete, and let me tell you that K&N sells for 16-18.00 dollars a piece!!!!, while FRAM XG sells for $7.50 ????. At least I can find Mobil 1 at resonable price.
