Which media player (for audio)?

I just tried it.
when I click on "file types" tab, a window appeared (dialog box) trying/preparing to "install microsoft office premium 2000" or what ever!!! I had to click the "cancel" button about 7 times to stop it. I didn't do anything after that.

do you know what that's about?

otherwise, I saw the MP3 extention on the list. so if I associate winamp with it, should anything in "my music" folder play with winamp when I open them?

Do you have your Office 2000 disk? If so, follow the installation through for whatever reasons it wants. This is a separate issue though...


Yes, a one-time file association will work for all files that have the same extension. Assuming you have all MP3 files, you're all set.
