Heat does not warp rotors. Even with extensive track use and the rotors are literally glowing red, they don’t warp. It is caused by either uneven pad deposits which will unevenly heat the rotor (think hot-cold around the rotor) or unevenly torqued wheel bolts/nuts. A higher carbon content rotor will be stronger and resist warping better. At Honda we would see warped rotors almost daily, have never seen it at BMW.
