Where is your engine manufactured?

My Tundra engine was made about, oh, 8 miles from my house here in HUNTSVILLE ALABAMA! It's one of the reasons I bought a Tundra. Engine made here in town, the rest made in Indiana...

Believe the Mustang, being a Romeo engine, was made in Romeo, Michigan.

The Lancer, well, someplace in Japan...

I though that was just the 2.4L version, with the 2.2s coming from Tonawanda...

Actually I have a 2.4, and I'd always assumed it came from Tonawanda until I learned later it was a Spring Hill engine. Maybe Spring Hill makes some 2.2s there too?

I found some Illinois parts in my Cobalt, which I thought was pretty cool.

Saturn: Spring Hills, TN. Engine was built there as well, I believe.

Nissan: Canton, MS. Engine and transmission were both built in Japan.

Built 1st time in Spring Hill. 2nd time in my driveway.

2008 5.7L HEMI( Dodge Ram 1500 )

To the best of my knowledge it was assembled at the same Saltillo engine plant in Mexico currently making the 09+ 5.7L's.

I used to drive a slant-six Duster that had "Hecho en Mexico" cast into the head. I'm not sure whether that means the engine was made there or if the head was cast there and then shipped to the US for assembly. The car itself was assembled in Hamtramck, MI.

2.2's have been produced at both plants. Part of the engine number label on the valve cover has either a 'T' or an 'S' indicating the plant.

My engine has an 'S', most likely becuase it is also installed in a VUE that was built at the same plant.
