My local town, as well as AAP and others, is happy to accept used oil but will not accept any other fluids. Our county has a once-a-year recycling for hazardous materials. Someone told me to take the fluids to the dealer; which would be fine if I was a regular customer.
How do you recycle your non-motor oil fluids?

This. All my fluids except coolant go in the same bucket. No need to keep them separate.

That's what I do, either AZ or AAP gets them.

I just throw it in the same jug as my used oil. They have no problem accepting it. All the petroleum-stock based oils are going into the same recycling tank anyway . . .

My local Dodge dealer takes them, have huge tanks and burn it as heating fuel.

Auto parts places used to tell me that they could not accept used oil if anything was mixed with it, especially ATF. Perhaps that has changed. My city does a household hazardous waste collection event every second Saturday of each month. I accumulate my stuff, kept in separate containers, in an old recycling bin. When the bin is full I go to an event. Since I run my synthetic oil, ATF, etc. for extended intervals it takes me about two years to accumulate enough to go. They also take fluorescent lights (including CFL's), batteries of all types, pesticides, herbicides, and paint.

I think it is a very good service!

The indy shop I go to gets anything that's clean. But if there might be water or dirt in it, it goes to Walmart.

Don't put other fluids in with oil to recycle - particularly brake fluid. It can contaminate all the other oil in the drum and make it non recyclable.

I store each fluid separately and drop them off separately to local Walmart. Not sure if they mix them all together or keep separately.

Never had done a coolant replacement as yet. When I do, I will need to look for options...maybe the local Honda dealership will take the used coolant as I bought the new coolant from them.

Wrong! EPA says no problem:

"EPA does not consider used brake fluid to be a hazardous waste when it is combined with used oil and recycled or burned as fuel, even if it has hazardous characteristics. Instead the recycled used brake fluid should be treated as used oil and managed under the used oil regulations."

I always keep all the used fluids in separate containers and label them. A few times a year I take it down to the dump where they take household hazardous waste. They also take fluorescent lamps, batteries, paint, etc as well.

You fill the radiator and cooling system with it. It helps keep the engine cool.

Used coolant I can also give to my home pick up service.
