When in doubt call the 1 800 numbers on the back of all the products you want to know about. I hve called Mobile, fordmotorcraft, stabil, valvoline, and on and on,,sometimes u get put on hold. The sales pitches are really good, try it and also go to their webbsites.........sky

I noticed your handle is courier driver. I've been known to call the 800 number on commercial vehicles when they drive like fools.

I've never understood the tendency of SOME who drive a vehicle with an employers name and unit number plastered all over it to drive like a fool. Cutting folks off, being a road bully because they are bigger, etc.

Doesn't take much to call it in.

The courtesy is I call the company rather than the police.

Enough rant.

On the plus side, I've called when I've seen good things too, so it's not just a tattle tale thing.

Most companies don't know what to do with those calls. They seem shocked that someone would call an praise a driver or a service.

Many years ago, we called the 800 number on a can of Spaghetti-O's. We told them we really enjoyed the product and said thanks. The lady at the other end of the line was speechless.

So don't just call when things are bad. Take a day and call those whose products meet or exceed your expectations, and tell them you are enjoying the product.

I enthusiastically, wholehartedly, emphatically second these sentiments.

It probably happens so seldom that she was making a split-second decision on whether she was being pranked.

I should e-mail Philips about how much I like my Sonicare and Samsung about my cellphone. Maybe even Canon about my camera. Be interesting to see how they respond.

LOL you can't be serious!

I've done it with food... salad kits that were all lettuce, no baggie with croutons/dressing/cheese. Figure they wanted to know so they could fix their production line. Got free salad and some other coupons out of the call. And it sounded like an American call center.

Yeah, I should call Canon and thank them for the free repair to my camera. Maybe after a cup of coffee so I'm in a chatting mood.

Many years ago I contracted with an LTL carrier (customizing their LTL 400 software). Their trailers all had the How's My Driving, 1-800-827-SAFE sticker with a unit number on the back. The company took the information from them very seriously-both good comments and bad. I've often used the number when I see both professional and unprofessional behavior behind the wheel. In my opinion every commercial vehicle should have one on the back and every driver with a commercial license should be held accountable.

I have also contacted companies when their products have been exemplary, as well as when the products have not met my expectations.

Most people will take time to complain, but won't say anything when satisfied. That's why online reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt.
