2) Amsoil or Mobil 1 oil filters. For diesels the Fleetgard "microglass" filters are also excellent.

Assuming the current ride, Mobil 1 5w-30 and a Motorcraft 820S. No additives other than Valvoline Synpower fuel system cleaner once in a while.
