Look at the second insert picture. The yard sign says $1500. CraigsList says $1600. And CraigsList is free to advertise. Maybe CL buyers expect to be able to do more bickering?

I offered the guy $1000.

He probably added in $100 for CL haggling. Most people will try to negotiate price on CL.

Typical CL brain surgeon-but that is a decent looking ZTR mower, though.

I don't think you'll see him come down under $1200 unless he's desperate. It's prime season for lawn mower purchasing and that works in HIS favor.

That will sell for $1400 all day long this time of year.

I'm not familiar with that particular model, but it's probably got HydroGear EZT or IZT drives on it. The older IZT's tend to hold up better.
