Is $6.60/qt for a 911 supposed to be expensive? Is there a readily available group iv option around the same price?
Edit- I see the Mobil 0w40 is $25 at Walmart. I think I'd pay the $10 not to have to go there. lol

$25.47 per 5 gallons.
Paying the premium for German and French Group III oil isn't worth it. It may be worth it for tires (Continental and Michelin), but not oil. For me to pay a premium, it needs to have some trick additive package and/or some esters in it.
