MC tires are a disgrace. There is no reason they should be done in 10,000 miles...or less. (I know a couple with an Electraglide...they never got more than 6K from a rear tire and a couple didn't even manage 4K.) My Burg went 10.5K on the OE (Bridgestone) rear tire, the replacement (Shinko) had half tread with 10K. OE front went 21K, but was pretty much done (wear bars) at that point.
OE Scorchers on my Sporty had about half tread at 8K.
