Hey guys, I was just wondering if there are any new motor oils coming out?

Its been awhile since a new oil has hit the shelves (PP??)

Do you guys have any info, or speculation on a new oil coming out?

or

Do you think these oils are all we got, untill the new ratings SN/Gf-5 are put in place.

Futhermore, what do you think the oil companies will do? start over from fresh with all new oils, or keep there same names, and just bring it up to spec?

I'd buy that.

Maybe Frank could sell it in large quantities to blenders rather than selling them his patent?

Probably something with the word 'titanium' in it. Worked for the credit card companies, no matter how ridiculous it sounds.

Nano titanium!!!

I just bought 2 quarts of Racing 2T for $8.50 each... That ought to last awhile.

Supertech should come out with a high mileage formula synth. I'm sure that would create a little buzz, maybe even drive other oils down in price some...

Perhaps Bruce will find some titanium additive. I don't think I've run out of ways to string together features into an oil name.

Hi,
in Europe a Group 6 lubricant category was introduced by ATEIL in 2003. This Group covers polyinternalolefins (PIOs) and the new Group is designed to allow PIO and PAO ingredients to be interchanged without the need for extra engine tests

Many of these new "blend" of base lubricants will become important when closed lubrication "systems" are introduced. These will have the lubricant condition monitored electronically using prescribed lubricants and many will have internal centrifuge cleaners

Oh, Doug (hi, btw) ..you've got to tell us more about "closed lubrication systems" here.

You can't just say that the cat died. We need the full drama
