What's better for storage - Sta-Bil or seafoam?

I've used the original red Sta-Bil since the 80's. Never an issue.

In fact I winterized all the sportbikes today. Fresh oil in the sumps, fresh gas in the tanks W/Sta-bil, fresh brake fluid, with Battery Minders hooked up to each, and on front and rear stands.

I took the old big-bore 2 stroke dirtbike out, and did a few wheelies up and down the road. The neighbors love my youthful exuberance... 😁

60 mile ride yesterday on the ZRX 1200. Added Red before the ride, topped off the tank afterward. Put another small shot of stabilizer in afterwards for the added fuel. Goal is to ride once a month (or more) through the winter in Colorado. Not too difficult if the nice days fall on the weekends. Otherwise...

Come January when we get cold and snow on a weekly basis, it could be two or three months before I ride the bike. Turn petcock to prime, tops off the carbs for any evaporated fuel, enrichener to the standard position and the old girl fires up after a few cycles. Red Stabil works fine, the others would work just as well.

Red Stabil, never an issue. It was said a long time ago in this thread to simply use non ethanol fuel and a stabilizer is not needed. Couldn't be further from the truth. Fuel breaks down and oxidizes and forms varnish whether it has ethanol in it or not.

Can't even get non-ethanol added fuel in some areas of the country.

Just watched a Youtube guy with old tractors. He adds both Ethanol Shield and Stabil 360 Marine to all his gas, both Ethanol free and 10%.

Sta-bil Storage ( The Red One ) is rated to keep gas fresh up to 2 years, Note, some of the other Sta-bil products are only rated 12 months storage but do more that keep gas fresh so use the one thats right for you but I need to know I can go 24 months as anything can happen ( LIFE ) .

I use the red Sta-bil as my old bike may go over a year and has in the past ( I got a lot of bikes ) . Seafoam? How long will it store? I have put Sta-bil to the test and it works! I mix Sta-bil with Marvel Mystery Oil as the MMO is good for O-rings and carb parts.

My Sta-bil red / MMO mix has been in almost every tank of ethanol free gas in my 1997 Harley the last 28 ish years! My tank is rust free and starts every spring but I did go 2 years in storage once but it was protected with my mix.
