Wait, is this a trick question?
EVs are supposed to be way more betterer.
You should not be worried about the charge fee, arent you hand over fist with extra $$$$$$ due to the efficiency of the EV?
If you like overpaying compared to the place next door because it's still relatively cheap, that's your prerogative.Wait, is this a trick question?

Then complain about how getting gas the biggest time waster and a PITA. LOLWait? Dont some guys drive all over the place trying to get a good deal on gas, or wait in line at Costco ?
No different.

while its a good way to compare prices for electricity its not always accurate to compare for price of electricity when adding an electric carTake your total electric bill and divide it by the KWH usage for the billing period. I think you'll find your cost of electricity to be substantially more than $0.22/kwh.
Charging an EV at home is extremely popular, due to immense convenience and lower cost. Then complain about how getting gas the biggest time waster and a PITA. LOL
Not sure I understand your question, but I pay based on time-of-use, where 4:00PM - 9:00PM being the highest and late night to morning hours being the lowest. I set my car to finish charging by 5:00AM.Cant charge at home and pay retail for Kwh usage?
It has never been an inconvenience for me, I rarely need more than 10 gal for fill my 15-17 gal tanks and with 5 gas stations within 1/4 of a mile it is no big deal. What would be a big deal is jockeying 3 or 4 cars around to get to a plug to plug an EV in. Hard pass.It is a time wasting PITA. Even when it's "convenient".
I can't remember anyone telling me what grand ole time they had going to get gasoline.

My Wall Charger has a 24' cable. In your case, would it be that hard to park an EV within 24' in the evening, or drive a car to a gas station? It has never been an inconvenience for me, I rarely need more than 10 gal for fill my 15-17 gal tanks and with 5 gas stations within 1/4 of a mile it is no big deal. It is a PITA when it requires me no addional stops to fuel my car. I went from stopping to fuel 100 times a year to like 6 if I'm on the road, otherwise I just charge at home. Then complain about how getting gas the biggest time waster and a PITA. LOL
mine's about 11 cents a KWH at home using this method.Take your total electric bill and divide it by the KWH usage for the billing period. I think you'll find your cost of electricity to be substantially more than $0.22/kwh.
Now that's VERY reasonable.mine's about 11 cents a KWH at home using this method.
at work I pay 9 cents a KWH to charge in the parking garage.
