What's a good price for these Mobil 1 and Castrol GTX 5 qt (at Walmart)?

I went to Walmart yesterday to pick up some things and looked at their oils. Mobil 1 in a 5 qt jug is $20. That's $4/qt, which is cheap, but not as cheap as I hoped it would be. I don't visit Walmart too often... does anybody know if Mobil 1 goes on sale there often?

Also, Castrol GTX (nonsynthetic) was something like $7-8 for 5 qts. That seems to be pretty average, not exceedingly cheap or anything.

Depending on which Wal-mart you goto. The price for a quart of M1 is between $3.90-$4.60.

That's about the same price as Walmarts in Ky. I have not seen them sale individual quarts of M1 for under $4. If I want some GTX I wait for Advance to put quarts on sale and buy a case, but Walmart's 5 qt. jug is a good everyday value and you don't have to wait for a sale.

If you can go to a Costco or Sam's Club, M1 is even cheaper than the 5qt jugs.

GTX 5 quarts are $6.88 here. M1 is like $20, but I wouldnt know since I aint gonna buy it

Ive gotten GTX on sale at Kmart for $1.25 a quart.
