i put too much Lubegard Red in help! It was an accident cause at first i was told 9qrts is my trans total size but its 6.3! Its 1oz per qrt and my bottle was 10oz (296ml), so 29.6ml is 1 oz.

After doing the math i put 84.52ml too much. In other words 2.85 oz too much.

What should i do? More importantly what would happen?

HELP!!!

According to the LG people an OD of a few ounces or even a full 10 oz. bottle isn't going to hurt a thing. I inquired about that.

Your car will travel back in time, given how a regular amount of LubeGard makes the tramission sing magic, happy tunes that are largely unverifiable claims...

No problem at all! LG says you can't OD the stuff. Trav regulary has used double the doses with great success. (I'll let him discuss in more detail).

I used a single dose in my '91 Ranger (A4LD) and got good improvement in about 50 miles. I later added a second bottle--the double dose--and within 10 minutes go that much better shifting. etc. All this occurred using Mobil1 ATF.

Relax, sleep well, and enjoy life

No problem.
I just added a full 10 oz. bottle to 3.25 quarts of T-IV (and a new Magnafine filter) in my Corolla. It's running perfect.
The entire system is approx. 8 quarts so It's not as much over as it sounds. I had added a full bottle of LG red at the last change but after nearly 30K I felt another full bottle was in order.

I guess you're about to find out what happens.
Seriously, though, I can't imagine that ~3 oz extra of the stuff in 6 qts+ will make any noticeable difference.

No problem at all. I use 2 bottles in almost everything and a full qt in larger units like the 4R100.
There are a lot of naysayers on this product but not many from folks who actually use it.
LG is good stuff use it with confidence.

Ok great, thanks. I just got confused cause of why LG said on the bottle dont overfill. THey should take that out, confuses the customer.

What they're saying is don't overfill the transmission, since it doesn't "burn off" like an engine, and can foam up. That causes other issues. They're usualy tolerant of a few ounces of overfill, in my experience, but more than that isn't recommended.
