My first FWD car was a 1974 Fiat 128 Sport Coupe. Kind of fun to drive but a real POS with regards to worksmanship and reliability. I didn't own another FWD car until I bought my 2019 Mazda CX 5. Actually, it is an AWD car but only applies power to the rear wheels when it detects wheel slippage in the front wheels. So for 99% of driving conditions it drives like a FWD car. Most of the time it isn't noticeable. But if you make a 90 degree turn from a dead stop and put your foot into it, it does exhibit considerable torque steer. It has the 2.5 liter turbo engine which makes a lot of torque at low RPM's so it's pretty easy to feel the torque steer.
Personally, I don't like FWD cars and would be happy if the manufacturer's reversed the trend and made a lot of their models with RWD again.
