The worst is poison ivy. Loves it here.
When the Forsythia are in bloom in the spring put down Dimension or Barricade or spray them with Quinclorac as post emergent herbicide.Plain old crabgrass
Yeah that stuff is nasty. Not so hard to control on private land, but seems like WA (State) encourages it!!Scotch Broom
So true. I was actually surprised to see a small crew actually pulling it off a small stretch of the Mountain Loop earlier this year. May not make much of a difference in the overall scheme of things in western WA, but hey. Persistence is key. One plant at a time. The stuff really triggers my allergies when it first blooms.Yeah that stuff is nasty. Not so hard to control on private land, but seems like WA (State) encourages it!!
I've had this growing in one spot and never knew what it was. Cleaned out the ditch and as the stuff comes back one was this. I've only seen it in one spot so it's getting the weed killer soon.I don't maintain a lawn anymore a fool's errand being situated mainly in the forest.
My wife is constantly pulling up Oriental bittersweet choking vines and drying them to death in the street
Lots of poison ivy taking over and no goats

If knapweed is native to Asia, then what keeps it in check over there? Here is the bad boy in our hood. I have a load going to the dump.

Not where I live but up in the mountains many forrest areas have been decimated by the ash borer beetle. I'm having a terrible time getting rid of dollar spot or ringworm in my yard. Here is the bad boy in our hood. I have a load going to the dump.
