What the heck is 0w12?

Saw this on Amazon. Is it just for European cars?

It is not for toyota it is a BMW thing. I just use 0w-20 in my toyota hybird that takes 0w-8 it has not blowen up yet.
 
There is such a very slight difference each step of the way between 0w-8, 0w-12, 0w-16 and 0w-20 that I really don’t understand the need for all 4 of these viscosities. They could easily eliminate one if not two of them.
Agreed. I sure wish they would standardize wiper blade connectors to 2 or 3 or even 4 styles, instead of dozens. Its ridiculous.
