What products are you not switching from?

What brought up the conversation? I’m sure I’m missing something.

If something is in short supply, I don’t think I’d have a choice to not switch. Lol.

The wife works 3rd shift and shops early and hasn’t really had an issue finding stuff aside from what we feed our indoor cat. We also keep a few months of food on hand for the pets so we never ran out, but we couldn’t find her food all summer until just last weekend.

Schick injector razor blades, when I can find them. Use them in my circa-1937 Schick razor with bakelite handle. Real q-tips, not store brand. Gold Bond green bottle to keep my nether regions feeling cool...like 10 thousand little ice angels blowing on my naughty bits. Allen Edmonds dress shoes and Brooks Brothers traditional fit no-iron dress shirts.

Mine are few...

BAN roll-on regular scent
3M double-sided tape
Lysol disinfectant spray
Aqua Velva aftershave

I've tried other deodorants, Mitcham, Arm&Hammer organic, but just can't shake my loyalty to BAN.
None. Everything is up for PiP in my world.

From past experience, I do not substitute these brands any longer...
Mitchum, Head & Shoulders, Zest, Puffs, Listerine, Colgate, Oral B, Dawn, Tide, Cascade, Hefty, Raid, Lee, Jockey, New Balance, Heinz, Jiff, Johnsonville, Campbell's, Coke, Toyota, 303, Weber, Whirlpool, Western Digital
Warren and I thank you for purchasing Heinz.

I am not a fanboy of any brand, but some brands have provided me with reliable service/utility so far. Key word is 'so far'. In no particular order:

Microsoft/Windows OS
Microsoft Office
Firefox browser
HP (but I am not happy with the current printer)
Sony
Panasonic
Honda
Kohler
Neutrogena shaving cream (try it!)
Hanes underwear
Tide
Pamolive
Colgate toothbrush/paste
Lysol
Toro
Black and Decker
Old Tyme bread (especially their new '647')
Kirkland (Costco brand) stuff
Dove soap
AT&T
Scotts/Ortho branded stuff for lawn
Swiss watches

And some others which I am forgetting.

As for deodorants, I stock up on Right Guard gel-based deodorant when its on sale. But any gel-based deodorant will do. Gel is the important feature, as gel gets into each skin pore better than powder-based, and no residue is left over on your clothing.

I have no problem switching from any of these brands. For example, Whirlpool was a brand I liked, but no longer. I also do not like nor trust Apple. I find Apple slows down every-single-hardware they sell. This problem happens when a company sells both hardware and software. The problem is called greed. Slow down people's devices, and then they have a reason to upgrade to a model with better performance. But I also don't like Samsung. So, my choices are limited. The moment Microsoft comes out with an affordable smart phone, I am switching. You hear me, Microsoft? Affordable. I am not paying 2K for a phone, or even 1K.

Whoa, I am not sure how this turned into a rant about phones, but :giggle:.

Have very dry skin. Spent years looking for products to keep my face looking like a lizard.
I'm talking right to scales 10 min after shower.

Over 30 years I spent thousands on high end mens departments store moisturizers chasing this problem moving from brand to brand over time. Clinique, Zihr, Jack Black, Task, and other high end stuff.

Turns out a cheap tube of gold bond medicated cream for men works even better as both a moisturizer and a no rinse shaving cream - better than any high dollar serum extracted from unicorn tears costing 10-20X.

another upside - 1 tube replaces two in the dopp kit.

Paul Mitchell Awapuhi or Tea Tree soap is really good at moisturizing your skin too. Won't make you oily at all either. Pretty cheap, about $4 a bar.
Actually, I wouldn't try tea tree oil soaps. They can actually make your skin more dry. I don't know much about 'Awapuhi'.

One fourth of Dove soap is moisturizer. I tried switching to Irish Spring back during the winter months, because I felt I could never get rid of the Dove soap residue completely after rinsing, and only then did I learn the effectiveness of Dove soap. I had very dry skin the week I used Irish Spring. The residue I couldn't wash off completely was probably the moisturizer part of Dove soap.
