Hi,
Colleagues, I wanted to ask you if they checked the oil pressure and oil temperature Amsoil oils are yours?
As we know, not every car has sensors, oil pressure and temperature.
Maybe you have some comparison to other brands ??

The only people that I know that use Amsoil and also notice a significant drop in oil temperatures verses other oils is Harley Davidson owners that have a temperature probe/oil dipstick. These are air-cooled, large displacement motorcycle engines, and seem to benefit from using this synthetic oil, dropping oil temps by about 20 degrees F. I know a couple guys who will not put any other type of oil in their bike engines, but will put Castrol GTX in their car and truck engines and be satisfied.

I have not seen oil temps drop with synthetic versus dino oils in the same engine.
But I have seen temperature changes when a different VISCOSITY oil was used, for sure.

I have worked on a number of Harleys over the years, and have friends that own them. Synthetic oil is standard from the factory. now.
Believe me, 20 degrees cooler with M1 is not the normal thing to occur.
Who know if and why it occurred in an individual's bike?

I use Amsoil 10w30 in the Jeep. Its got a gauge, but its not terribly accurate.

The one thing I do notice, is the pressure is steady and it rises quickly on startup.

And you have some comparison to other oils when it comes to oil pressure?
Which shows you value?
Maybe some oils hold their pressure better ..?

Pidziek - Amsoil will hold up to use and abuse as well or better than any oil.

Full synthetic oils stay near their original viscosity [thickness].
Regular oil can shear and get a little thinner after several thousand miles [We call it 'dino' oil - from dinosaurs.].
