Does the cursive "P" in the corner help?

when i've seen that P, it generally just indicates the bottle was made by Plastipak.
https://www.plastipak.com/
they have a massive facility about 45 min south of me, that amongst other clients, produces the plastic Bottles for P&G liquid Laundry products(Tide, Downy, Gain, etc.), which are made and bottled here in Lima.

It's O'Reilly 5w30 Full Synthetic in a 5 quart jug. I was looking for an indicator of the oil company on the jug and couldn't find anything. Other oil I've bought there had the Amalie Oil symbol but nothing for this. I got it for $12 plus tax with my $10 off $20 purchase coupon.

So they sell it for $22 and it's only an OK-deal @ $12.

I go to O'Reilly, Advance Auto, Pep Boys and AutoZone when I need something behind the counter, or an illuminated bulb on an aisle shelf that burnt out.
Nothing else!

If I need an auto part , and can wait a week , I look up the price on rockauto.com + shipping and compair it to the local stors ( including any internet discounts ) . If it is close , I purchase locally . If not close , I order it .

If I need it that day , I compare price and availability , locally & go with the best deal .

I rarely find the bargains , unless mentioned here on this website . Thanks , every one ! :-)

Last I heard they were still making it.

Yes, as can be confirmed here: Oreiilly Data Sheets

It's Space Oil from the Sputnik refinery just down the street from Lubyanka prison near Moscow. Really slippery stuff as a rule but the viscosity is all over the scale depending on the vodka content of the plant management. Jug fills are also inconsistent with frequent "passengers" such as mouse heads, pocket knives, buttons and teeth. Rarely seen in the US except maybe at an O'Reilly's store. Like many of their products, if you buy one it should be used as a "wall hanger".

It's gotta' be much better than what's coming from the Chernobyl refinery, where vehicle engines are suddenly developing two additional heads at 10K.....lol
