What kind of tire failure is this? CTS-V Hankook Ventus

"Hankook" sez it all.
I'd love to say Hankook makes good tires but many of their products fall short in ways that can't be seen. Heck my 2024 F150 comes with mushy and soft riding Hankook AT2's, with a very thoughtful 'half' tread depth. About 6/32". A far cry from the 11/32 inch on comparable Michelin tires. Unsurprisingly, they hydroplane easily on the lighter aluminum F150.

When they reach 4/32" which will probably be at the 10,000-20,000 mile mark, they are coming off and Michelin's are going on. I'm not putting up with excessive hydroplaning here in rainy South Florida.

I purchase Hankook Ventus Vsomething tires for my X-Type when I was going to sell it. Of course, I kept it and all 4 tires came apart catastrophically at less than 20,000 miles. large sections of delamination under the tread which filled with air.
