I have started using Buc-ees due to there smoking low prices and it will be on the way home once a local connector road is finished. Otherwise, the Civic gets Kroger and some Shell while the BMW is pretty much all Shell.

I do feel a little bad about not using TT, but when the price difference makes the periodic PEA cleaner cheaper, I don’t worry much.

Which Kroger has the signs? I don't think I have ever seen them (the old one on Fry just north of 10 and the new on on 99 and Morton are the only 2 I have fueled up at).
I have to admit I have never really looked for them either.
I have only filled both vehicles at one time once (at the Fry store). I now wait till my truck is almost empty and then bring my gas cans (two five gallon and one 2.5 gallon). I usually get ~22-23 gallons in the truck, then another 10-11 or so in the gas cans (I don't like to fill them completely full).
I then use the gas cans to fill my wife's car, lawn mower, or the bike.

I finally fueled up at the new Buc-ees last week, was over at Katy High stadium for my son's game, and rode my bike. That place has a lot of pumps. No plans to go there regularly, 6 miles each way eats most of the lower cost.

I have no issues not using Top Tier fuel (although Sunoco is Top Tier and the Scion does get filled there on occasion, and the truck will get Shell on occasion as I said in my post above).

I wonder how Walmart fuel compares to Top Tier?

ARCO, just around the corner, SHELL when traveling, seems they are everywhere on the Interstates.

Because of Speedy Rewards, decent coffee, lots of locations and usually best price on gas.

Mobil is my first choice that balance the cost, mileage and response performance. Shell offer best mileage but tends to make engine start more difficult, VPower is expensive but gives better response on high rpm. Chevron give best response and consistent performance but mileage is not great.

Usually, we get Valero. Top Tier and close to the house. Lately, I have been using Murphy's (Walmart) due to the lower price. My truck seems to like it too... Last, if we're in a hurry, there is an Alon right around the corner. I try to limit the amount of time we go there. I just don't get that "fuzzy" feeling when I fuel up there.
When we are traveling, I love Petro stations. The store is great, the Iron Skillet restaurant is amazing, and the 1st one went up in my home town.

Well, I filled up today (points expire tomorrow) at the Kroger on 99 and I saw a little sticker on there saying 35 gallons, limit 1 vehicle or something like that.
Says nothing about gas cans though

.

It was $1.49/gallon, ended up getting 27 gallons filling the truck and using the gas cans.

BP, Marathon, or Shell. I pay for almost everything with my BP Visa and pay it off completely every month. When I filled up my 2er yesterday I only paid 10.9 cents per gallon due to the fuel rewards.

My cars take different grades and all the stations are far enough away to make it pointless. I live near 1463, so Buc-ees will be on the way once the connect the Cane Island Parkway to 1463.

Shell & Exxon/Mobil while in KY.

Chevron/Texaco, Shell, or Exxon/Mobil while in FL.

The ones that seem to have the best maintained stations in our area, in no particular order:

Quik Trip
Phillips 66
Sam's Club

I find myself visiting Sam's Club more and more because it's just gas. I don't need $20 in lottery tickets, nor smoking/vaping supplies, nor the 44oz bladder buster.

We're lucky we have a Shell gas station, no convenience store, just a 2 repair bays, right in our lake community. They have great help and the prices are the same as a non top tier station with a big convenience store a mile a way, though their hours are limited. Sometimes out of necessity my wife will use a large Quick Chek station on the highway. They are decent and the fuel turnover is frequent so it's fresh fuel, though not top tier like the Shell. We are getting a brand new Mobil station in town and convenience store that is real convenient for us to use for fuel and they are top tier fuel. Maybe their hours will be longer than the Shell's. Though with Shell we get discounts by shopping at our local supermarket.

Costco regular most days. Always know the fuel in those tanks is safe. On odd days I use a newly opened Walmart gas station. Very busy there too so not to concerned about thier new tanks and constant traffic keeping gas moving through them. Oddly I am finding my F150 seems to get a bit better gas milage with the Walmart gas. Not sure why. Be nice to hear if others have this same experience.

Whoever is cheapest usually. I use to seek out 93 octane for the Gen Coupe but they all are 93 now except Casey's for premium who is 91 octane. If BP is the cheapest I go there as I get a discount using their credit card.

Costco. Cheapest around (with membership) and top tier. I figured in about 3000 miles of gas I can pay for the membership.

I've only seen a couple mentions of Marathon, so I'll add my experience with it. I've had my S2000 since new in 2004. This summer was Marathon 93 octane all year long. I've gotten 27-30 mpg all year on it. In the past, most recently using Shell V-Power and several years ago using Mobil 93, I never got more than 27 except 28 mpg once on V-Power. 23-26 was the norm with almost no deviation from those figures with the exception many years ago when doing a few HPDE's with it. I have no explanation for the increase on Marathon 93 octane but I sure am happy with the stuff. And the station is a block from my house.

On the other hand, my IS300 calls for premium and every time I use Marathon 93, I can only muster about 23 mpg. If I use the 89 octane mid grade, I'll get 25 or 26. This is consistent over the past year. I have no explanation for this phenomenon either. I'm happy that Marathon is top tier so the detergents are adequate and their price is always competitive. The convenience and local ownership count for a lot too. Before a year ago, I'd never used Marathon except in my OPE. Overall, I'm very happy with the product.

About 3/4 of the time I go to Costco, reasonably priced and nice pumps.

1/4 of the time I go to Shell and put in my grandparent's phone number for the grocery store rewards

they don't know how to use them anyways
