Left and right fists. Never leaving home with them.
The old meat mittens can do the trick in the right situation. Not every altercation automatically warrants pew pew.Left and right fists. Never leaving home with them.
While that’s true, bringing fists to a gunfight is poor survival strategy. The old meat mittens can do the trick in the right situation. Not every altercation automatically warrants pew pew.

ESPECIALLY if he is leaving them home. I'm just not sure how one decides to not bring them. Makes many things inconvenient, restroom for one. While that’s true, bringing fists to a gunfight is poor survival strategy.
NY sucks for EDC and all the "sensitive" places that you can't. Pretty much all the places you would want it.I have at least a dozen carry guns I will rotate around for the fun of it but the most carried by far are two Taurus pistols. A G2c 40 and also a Slim 709. I have two of the G2c 40’s, one black and one OD green. They work. The 709 is quite slim and light so it’s a nice hot weather not a lot of clothes pistol.
That's an absolutely wild price for a pistol, even on sale. I paid $315 out the door for a S&W Shield 9 a few years back at Bass Pro.NY sucks for EDC and all the "sensitive" places that you can't. Pretty much all the places you would want it.
I bought 3 of the Taurus 709 Slim back in 2020. Field and Stream was doing clearance stuff, they were $120 each. I now own one as my son and daughter got the other 2.

So true…and it’s even worse in NYC where only criminals carry. I rarely if ever carry my Ruger EC9s because the only time I feel I need a weapon is when I go into the jungle that NYC has become. The EC9s is a concealable piece even with the optional 9 round magazine.NY sucks for EDC and all the "sensitive" places that you can't. Pretty much all the places you would want it.
Funny, sad? My son just sent back his Suffolk County pistol license with concealed carry since he moved to VA. All the things he read is that's it's easier to get a non-resident NYC concealed carry for him than it is for me to get an NYC CC.So true…and it’s even worse in NYC where only criminals carry.
