What is this odd but neat style of subdivision house called exactly.

Of course there's all kinds of in betweens, in every color, shape, and size. Different strokes and all. Then there's what they call Tiny Houses that are even smaller.
LOL I know, I know, I was being facetious. I think there's some here who won't live anywhere if there's a neighbor a mile away! 🤠

There's a neighborhood similar going up close to work here. Garages are detached. Some of the newly developed ones are being built with a roof over the breezeway between the house and garage, but not all of them. There is just about enough room for a 22" deck mower to get in between them for 2 passes.

One thing about them that absolutely sucks - the driveways are stupid short. You can't park a car in the driveway - some of them are maybe 8 ft long tops. People park diagonally in the driveways - nothing bigger than a midsize sedan or smaller SUV will fit. You can see the vehicles parked on the road south of the circle - and look how narrow the little access road is. Ain't parking on that sucker.

Prices run from about 680k to 740k. I'd just as soon live in a condo with a longer driveway for about 300k less. For the 300k I'm saving - if I want to raise kids - I could buy a half acre and build them a private park with a pool 2-3 miles down the road.

I do think these would be great for empty nesters or folks whose kids are a little older. I am personally glad my kids had a big yard to run around in.
