I'm sure additives will drop out of Amsoil given enough time, but that's not additive drop out.

Here`s a pic from a Valvoline 10W40 jug. The black specs you see kind`ve resembled gravel. This was a brand new jug.

I can't believe how boring the "tex" has become over the past few years when the head mod started to ban anyone with an opinion that didn't jive with the official line from the dozen or so in the peanut gallery. You know who I mean....Turbiodiesel, xdre, Seabird, ect. I still think there are nothing more that stealth PR guys working for various car companies.

I see that residue in about every bottle of oil I pour if I don't shake the bottle first. For years now I have been shaking them up really good before pouring it. Shoot the stuff sits for months before it is sold, then if you keep a few cases around the house it can sit for a year or two.
That residue is the reason why I shake all my oil first. I've seen it with Mobil 1, PP, and Amsoil to name a few. I was thinking Amsoil would have been less prone to it, but it appears to be the same with all of them. Shake it up pour it in and drive.
This isn't "fallout". Not sure why people are not understanding that. It's left over oil combined with condensation.
