What is the EXACT replacement for the ford orange

As to for this thread.. Prestone makes an American Orange product.

it’s so they can use their current formula in everything

dexcool branded products have to be identical to the original havoline xlc

I had a leaky `18 Transit 250 3.7 company van-I put so much Dexcool in it that the coolant expansion tank was RED when I turned it in (at 116K)! Didn't nurt a thing! BTW, the MC "Specialty Yellow" IS Prestone Extended Life (yellow) with Cor-Guard, and is completely compatible with MC Orange & Dexcool.

When I went to get some orange they sold me Motorcraft Gold for mine. Said it was the updated replacement. Hopefully they gave me the right stuff because I had never seen gold coolant before. It looks orange in the reservoir.

The gold is wrong. They have gold and yellow, gold is G-05 which was used from 2000/1 to 2010 in most applications.

NOT GOLD! That’s G-05, you need MC Yellow, or Prestone (like I said above), or even Dexcool will work, trust me!
