I once got a sketchy PS pump from RA for the Lumina. It was an obvious return; torn open and oily Delco box that was taped shut, then placed in another, too small box that was partially folded closed and taped shut then shipped to me.
Only after I had it installed was when I noticed that the plastic return hose nipple on the reservoir was broken off and missing. It was cheaper to order a new replacement reservoir than to ship it back for another.
Another memorable RA order was a Fram fuel filter for the Legend. The filter looked fine but the box looked like it was run over by a tank and left in No-Man's-Land back in 1917.
