I will say here in SC the charger / Challenger were extremely popular, but I think I see fewer each passing year. There long in the tooth. I do like their looks. Not like there are none, but I haven't seen much other than some pretty beat up older ones, and the very occasional modded up one running around. 10 years ago they were everywhere.

I mean, I'm a big fan of hyperbole, but calling a BOF truck a "car" because it uses coils is a bit ridiculous.

Idk about that. My car was attempting to self clearance its wheel wells with 12 bags of pea gravel in it… my “car with a bed” dropped maybe 1.5”.

My daughters 2012 Challenger is the only other " chrysler " product I've had to compare anything with

IF they bring back a Dakota to take on colorado and tacos I would be interested once again

‘14 GC Overland. No drivetrain leaks, no oil use, and after 11 Michigan winters, no rust. 92K and the only mechanical failures are an oil pressure sensor and a leaking motor mount. Runs and drives like new. I have a lifetime Mopar MaxCare lifetime extended warranty. Going to keep this one quite a while.

‘22 GC Summit 2-row WL. I can’t find a single fit or finish issue. Only at 13K, but a couple minor recalls is all I’ve had to deal with.

That said, not at all happy with the direction Stellantis seems to be going.

I too have had great service from every CDJR I've owned and immediate family has owned. I was not happy with the direction Diamler took them, but did like a lot of what FCA did with the brands. I have a lot of concern about what will happen under Stellantis.

Those are the most abundant sporty vehicles seen on the roads around here. By far.

Agree. At the local Sonic on Friday nights there would be a number of 392 and Hellcat Chargers and Challengers.

We have tons of challengers/chargers around here. I really wanted a Challenger but never pulled the trigger on one and now they no longer make them and I'm not about to buy a used one.
Anything electric is a no go for me so the new Charger is also out.

This thread reminds me of a time a several decades ago where I was helping a friend fix up an AMC (I think it was a Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer) and the impression that I got from the vehicle is that it was made of cheap aftermarket parts. I suspect that Stellantis is the same, even today. Imagine a vehicle where plastic was used where metal was more appropriate, and the parts reminded you of unbranded "white box" parts often purchased on Amazon or eBay.
