What grows in your yard?

Dandelions, yes, and right now there are a lot of little purple flowers. Clover, maybe? Many of the neighbors pay for various services (Tru-Green, etc) to come and spray for that stuff, so they have nothing but grass.
 
Several types of pine trees, oaks and manzanita are about all that grow up here above 5000 ft. in the mountains. The ground is so hard and rocky that I had to use a pickaxe to make holes to stick those solar powered landscape lights in the ground around my walkways.
However each spring I see a lot of wild daffodils in bloom, both white and yellow. The only way people can grow decorative flowers around here is in raised planters that have been filled with good soil and kept watered.
