Energy density is nothing to play with, but ignoring or being a scared cat or not putting such things to work for mankind is idiotic. Again we did EXACTLY what you and the greenies wanted with nuclear power. NOW we might actually see it a useful power source, not something to be afraid of.

Most EV fire statistics are from 6 or 7 years ago. The raw number of EVs on the road has grown exponentially.
Those vehicles are terribly massive and Lithium batteries do not fare well in accidents. It takes very little to compromise them.
It's not worth arguing.
Time will prove my point.
NaCl batteries might be a viable replacement some day. Who knows. I'm only referring to Lithium battery powered vehicles.
