What does "Lifter Free" do?

Probably a strong solvent to get junk out. Like a Beryman B-12 chemtool or similar.

Probably not, it probably cleaned up the junk that was causing the lifters to tick. I would skip it next OCI and see what happens.

I also have noisy lifters and stuck a bottle of nulon lifter free in with my last lot of oil, the car was much quieter almost straight away but after I changed my oil it's just as noisy as before
Who knows you may be lucky and mine may be too far gone, but the effects went with the oil in my case
