What do you do when people cut you off?

Yikes! Note to self; don't cut other vehicles off, period. Some of them have serious issues and this is not the way I want to leave the mortal plane. Though i have trouble doing so, I have to keep telling myself that driving is a skill. VERY few people are good at it.

Couple weeks ago at the Stuart airshow. The guy has no idea how lucky he was that my window did not break. He was pounding on it. I had made my mind up that if he gained entry by violence, he was "in trouble".
But, on a philosophical note, I don't ever want to shoot anybody. Dealing with the injury or death of another person is something I'd have an exceedingly difficult time with. I don't need that. I'm not out to prove how tough I am (I'm not tough at all) I keep a cool head, and I'm satisfied to fold my arms and let a situation play itself out, without any input from me.
I'd rather deal with it in the courts "after the fact".

NOBODY cuts me off in my 4x4 dually with bumper replacements. I had one guy think about doing that and ended up going right into the ditch blowing 2 tires... he was affraid I was going to hit him..and I was.. I NEVER let off the gas and there was a difference of 30mph.. I would have played monster truck... I have more riffles and shottys than some gun shops so if it came to that point....

I just chuckle at their incompetence and move on as I know it will catch up to them eventually. Life is too short to worry about exacting vengeance over driving...if everyone acted that way...well if you have seen vids on Youtube about Russian drivers...that is where we'd be...
Timely subject. The other day, my wife apparently had a run-in with a road-rager. She said she changed lanes and suddenly a black car was behind her. She admits she probably cut him off, since she drives a Vibe and worries about the blind spots. That was in hindsight, though. At the time she had no idea what was happening.
The car got up next to her, wouldn't pass, and started swinging into her lane as if to crowd her out of it. She looked over at him and saw he was obviously enraged. This kept up for most of her commute, on 2 and 4 lane city streets with speed limits of 35 or less. He finally let up and passed her when she slowed for a parked police car.
So, even without a shotgun, a rifle, or a 4-wheel drive, a well-dressed man in his fifties, driving a worn-out Volvoish car, managed to scare a small woman so much that she was still stressed about it that night. If it was you, be proud to know that you probably affected her driving for the worse, not the better.

LOL CROWNVIC4LIFE. You reminded me of my vacation in Reno last year. My rental was a black Crown Vic and I had a lot of fun on the road with it. People made sure to get out of my way for some reason. I'd pulled off the road at one point to get some pictures, and when I got back on, people in front of me started hitting the brakes. I guess they figured I was after one of them or something...

I whip out my sweet martial arts moves (from the waist up of course). People tend to not want to mess with someone who's karate chopping his own visors and rearview mirror. Combine this with visible screaming and saucer shaped eyes and you've got a winning combo.
