When possible, I put the skinny pedal all the way down if things gets serious. 100+mph usually fixes the issue, the [censored] off individual is usually driving a completely worn out piece of garbage barely capable of highway speeds.
Last encounter with a road rager(A whole car load actually) went like this:
I'm tooling along in the right lane doing 75 or so, just cruising along in light traffic. Nice day. I come up to a semi truck, signal, look back to see nothing in the left lane but an old dodge diesel pulling a loaded trailer a hundred yards back, which I immediately estimate to be going slower than I was.
I was wrong, this truck is being piloted by your typical white trash, 20 something redneck, along with 3 of his friends, at 80+. He flies up on me, lays on the horn, starts riding my bumper, all that [censored]. This "man" is clearly angry. I don't care, don't drive at blatantly unsafe speeds and you wouldn't be having any issues. I get around the semi and go back to the right lane. They then blow by me, all 4(double cab truck) giving us the finger.
Then they decide to drop in front of me and brake check me, unacceptable, I go for a pass, they now try running me off the road. NOPE, drop a gear, WOT, 80, 90, 100, 105, truck now looks pretty small in the mirrors, I get off at my exit. THESE GUYS DECIDE TO FOLLOW ME, floor it again, run at 100 for a mile or so, drop off on a back road (cheap brakes were finally starting to fade) and stop in a random driveway, they blow by doing 85 or so. I wait a minute, get back on the road and continue towards home. Came up on em a few miles later in some S curves, his trailer had lost a tire. The look on his face when I drove by and gave a polite honk and wave was the most angry thing I have ever seen. Needless to say, I parked in the backyard that day.
