What did you reload today

Done with about 200+ 30 Carbine loads, all my empty cases. Now I’m on to some 22-250 loads, using up the last of my IMR-4064 powder.

i picked 200 IMI once fired cases at the range . I processed the cases and reloaded them. I don't know why I did it , but I did.

Over August I loaded 2,000 more 40 S@W loads.
Hi.
I loaded 1000s of rounds of Pistol Ammo on a Lee Turret Press. I always wanted a Dillon but could never afford one. What press do you use to turn out the quantities you are using?

I have a Dillon 550 I bought in 1991 and sent it in to Dillon for a rebuild in 2014 and is came back better than new with all sorts of upgrades parts. 5 of my friends used the Dillon until they finally decided to buy their own. It has loaded 338 Lapua , 300 Weatherby mag, 30/06, 308, 223,45acp , 40 S&W ,9mm , 357 and 38. The Dillion is one of my favorite things I ever purchased in life . I have found that if I leave the machine set up 300 rounds in under an hour is easy and quite pleasant . I have done 500 in a sitting but it is brutal and quite stressful.

My .338 LM is an old Sako 995. Two that interest me are the CZ Badlands and Sako 85 composite.
On topic, I loaded 558 rounds in December, 2020. About 190 of them were 300 Win Mag with 200 ELDX bullets.
Another 100 or so 7mm Rem and 7mm-08 with 150 ABLR and 162 ELDX. Another 150 or so 6.5x55 with 143 ELDX and 142 ABLRs. The rest were .325 WSM, some with Barnes 160 TTSX.
I buy 195 Hornady 8mm ILs quite often because of the cost. I think I have about 25 left out of 2 boxes of 100.
All caught up again;
10 year total 6,330 of;
6.5x55
7mm-08
7mm WSM
7mm Rem mag
308 Win
300 WSM
300 Win mag
325 WSM
338 LM

Only 225 this December compaired to 558 last year.
I'm out of magnum powder.

Especially if you stockpiled primers...
When they were plentiful I bough 40,000 . Plus powders. I really can not tell the differences in the powders because even though I, like to shoot I don't have the best hand eye coordination

I'm out of magnum powder.
My son dropped 185 .338 Win Mag cases on my lap yesterday. His renter found out the hard way that if you own anything other than the most popular 5 or 6 cartridges, good luck finding ammo if you don't re-load.
The 338 WM was bad advice for a first rifle. On top of being recoil shy, he burnt through boxes of ammo trying to sight it in with a cracked scope ring.
It's a Tikka T3 stainless. He's going to give me the 338 plus $700 cash for a Sako A7 300 win mag with a muzzle brake and 240 rounds of handloads.
I spent all day cross referencing load data for the 338. My bullet collection consists mostly 250-300s for the 338 LM.
The best I can do with the win mag is 2,650 with the 250s and 2,400 fps with 300s.
All I have in lighter bullets is 50x 200g Nosler ETs and 50x 185 TTSX.
My powder stash is starting to suck, but I have a pound each of H4350, W760, 7828ssc, RL15, Superperformance, LVR and IMR 4320.
I'll go through about 3 lbs of powder reloading 185 rounds at 74 grains each.
I'll go bullet shopping Monday. Wish me luck, there's not much out there.

Haven’t been able to find Bullseye powder, so I picked up some Accurate No 2 and No 5, which are similar but of course not the same. Loaded a few 148gn WC’s with No 2 and some 158gn SWC +P with No 5, just to see what will happen (my prediction, I still am a lousy shot).

Since I could not find small pistol primers I recently bought some small rifle primers, so of course I used those (why only adjust one variable at time?). My head must not have been screwed on right last night, out of the 25 or so rounds I wanted to do, I had to redo 6 or more because I pressed the primer in upside down (stupid mistake) or sideways—I think there was a bit of debris in the ram (maybe?), otherwise my press doesn’t like these primers (but I find that hard to believe).

Note to self: always bring more than one push-pin to hold up targets, I'm not as good as I think...

I think No 2 and No 5 are more smokey than Bullseye, but, the 158 +P's I think worked better with No 5 than BE. 148 WC's maybe better with No 2 than BE? Thing is... I've been buying hardcast all this time, and recovery of my bullets is showing what I think is low obturation. Hotter loads might work better, or I need to start casting my own and using softer lead.

Shoulda loaded more, I noticed the first flies in the woods, won't be long before they take over.

I haven't been able to load any .338LM because of COVID and the reloading setup being out at my buddy's place in the sticks. Hit up the local store today as I'm really low, down to about a box and a half of it and figured I'd grab some .308 as I fired a box yesterday.

Yes, that's $126.99 for 20.

When you see .338 bullets on the shelf, buy them. That goes for 6.5mm hunting bullets and slow burning magnum powder.

I lucked out last week and found four boxes of 140 grain 6.5mm Hornady copper and two pounds of 6.5 StaBall powder.

December was .308 Win month. Did 300 of them with new Sig Sauer brass. 150 were 125 Nosler BTs I've had for 15 years collecting dust.
I found a box of 100 Hornady 250 grain 338s ILRPs at the old price, so I'm good for bullets for now.
