What did you get for Christmas or Hanukkah?

Wife got me a Yukon tool box with 9 drawers and a wooden top. Nice and sturdy. Also got me a Norelco razor and other stuff but no clothes. I got her and air fryer a new hair dryer an expensive Chromebook by HP. She is happy.

I had a big headache driving home Christmas Eve. Way too much sugar and not enough water makes for a dehydrated insulin spike, I guess.
The more glycogen you hold the more water you store. The ratio of glycogen is about 3:1 by weight. For every gram of glycogen you hold you hold ca 3 g of water. A person may store as much as 500 g of glycogen and thus up to an extra 1.5 kg of water. As the glycogen is used up for fueling cells the excess water is excreted via urine. If the glycogen is not being used up it is metabolized into fat and deposited as adipose tissue.

My wife got me a good Norelco shaver. I have a Panasonic shaver which shaves very close but I've always preferred a rotary. I have a few other electric shavers that are worn/suck I will toss. I got my wife a pair of Jordens which she loves but they are too small and need to be exchanged.
I got a chef iQ wireless temp probe early this year as a Christmas gift from my parents. The older I get the less I want. It's the two probe model

I got a new float coat and pants for ice fishing. If I fall in the water instead of drowning I will freeze to death. Yahoo!

Money from my wife and daughter. Will spend that New Year eve taking grandsons and daughter to Texas Roadhouse. What I really enjoy Christmas day is when my grandsons come over with their vehicles to show me the new stuff they got for them.
