Neighbor crashed his clown car, I was invoked to get it back on the road in a hurry
It damaged the core support, drivers side headlight, smashed the cooling fan into the cat, wiring damage, etc
Warning: this is a temporary measure

Got medieval on it with a giant prybar, enough to get the radiator back where it belonged, and opened enough space to extract the broken fan
After swapping in the new fan, it still didn't work
The low speed resistor was cracked in the accident, had to order one for an Aveo
The high speed J case fuse blew, and he had swapped the relays when "checking the fuses"
After much bi directional controlling and power probing, I had a cooling fan again
A pair of light bulbs, some more prybar time, fiddling with the hood latch, and a few zip ties
It's "together", in the sense that nothing's loose, and nothing's gonna fall off
This should get him by until a core support and headlight come in
And an OCI, which is quite easy on this little 1.4

It actually drives fine, not even noisy with the panel gaps

Replaced a sad-looking yet only 2 year old Dayco radiator hose on our WJ. I noticed it during my semi-weekly oil level checks and was shocked at how bulged the hose was, especially since I was 99% sure I'd replaced it when I did the radiator. Looked back at my RA purchase history and sure enough, there it was. It wasn't even a closeout item, just regular stock.
I drained out enough coolant to prevent any spillage and slapped an AC Delco hose in as a replacement. I actually like the fitment of the Delco better, the curve clears the power steering hard line at a much better angle.
