Did a dryer and vent cleaning for a friend replaced an open thermal. The Culprit

I opened my thermals once, but it resulted in a restraining order.
Rotated the tires on the wife's Durango, 88,454 miles on the Michelins and the original three gauged at 7/32" surprisingly (6249 miles on this rotation). A couple weeks back I did have to swap out a plugged tire, for another Michelin it has 10/32" on it. Probably replace them all in the winter timeframe I suspect and keep the good one for back-up. Got to use my new Astro Pneumatic Digital Tire Inflator when adjusting tires pressures. Made the kids vacuum out the Durango for their Mother to clean up their mess.
Burned all the branches and tree limbs I trimmed a last week. Split some dry wood for bonfires coming up. Rinsed the fins off on the A/C unit to clean the build up off. That was enough as the humidity was getting to me and temp's were rising.

Slapped new Auto Extra rotors on this '01 4Runner. Was trying to save the family $ and the pads are still good. Was going to have O'Reilly turn them but my store has been severely understaffed and I lost confidence in their ability to do them quickly so my lift isn't tied up.
I finally just ordered two new closeout rotors from RA for $49.63 delivered and turning would have been $25x2
What's worse -- whatever rotor is on there now at 230k miles cut a touch thinner, or new, inexpensive rotors? I figured it's a wash with no clear winner.
Apparently this gen 4Runner is notorious for warping rotors regardless and the Tundra upgrade is popular.

I had fun with Ford's vacuum issues and IWE's. We run lots of F150's (hence my disdain for anything Ford) and had several with vacuum issues right out of the gate. In 2wd, they would intermittently grind, usually fail completely before getting an opening in the shop. My truck was bad so I jerry rigged the vacuum lines so they were default locked. It was a neat concept but built Ford tough......
In between helping at the team penning event today, I decided to tackle the 7 pin connector in our new to us baby 3 horse bumper pull.
Last month, I went through it, serviced the brakes and connector leads. Brakes worked better but nothing to write home about. The 7 pin had road rash and visible copper corrosion. I pulled it apart and found what is likely the source of the power issues. New connector went in and will test it once the diesel is home from the show.

Went to take a look at our new car that came in on Thursday. Not going to pick it up until next Thursday, as I need to get a bank check from an internet bank. Since I had no idea when it would actually arrive, just an idea around 8/11, I didn't want to have the money not earning interest. It was not shipped on steelies as I had expected? I dunno if the salesperson is correct, she said they do that on optional rims.

Power washed the tractor and RV. RV needs a scrub actually so might in a couple weeks. Put the tire back on the Troybilt… didn’t move. Had both drive belts and already put one on so did the other, they were due! Waste of time though. Guessing the fork is wore in the trans or maybe the gears since pops out of gear easily. Does start working good enough once warmed up but going to find another cheap one mower to fill in. Want to buy a new one next year, have other things to do besides working on it.
Did plugs, PCV, and battery in a 2017 Nissan juke. Did the wipers, air and cabin filter a few days ago.

Replacing fuel line from gas tank to carb on my stihl chainsaw, I think the gasket around the tank was going bad. Doesn’t leak now when running it.
Making a new hydraulic bottle jack handle out of old pipe, cutting the slots for the t-bolt release. Lost the original somewhere.

Was it perchance flowing just fine through the vent while throwing a “check airflow” light? Um, asking for a friend…
Minimal auto work.
Attic storage space continues. The good flat area is 20 board feet and 90 degrees from the best place I can cut an access door to. Finished the “catwalk. And (nervous as all git-out) cut the hole for a 24x49” door. Test-fit it, and framed it in. First time. Worked (yay)! The drywall removed was covered in … mold. ****. Went up next day and pulled down insulation to inspect. Thankfully it’s isolated to one area and apparently these 1-rooms above a garage are prone to it. Mounted 3 J-boxes for future lighting and thats about all I could muster up there for 2 days.
Found the limits of the 4T tacomas torque in reverse in 4HI. 4Lo was needed. Idk if it’s a mechanical limit or software limit, but the attempted hillside was so steep I determine to climb in reverse since i wanted control in downhill return if i didn’t make it up. 4Lo and momentum were both needed. Studied a wonderful book once I got up there, with the engine off so the cats didnt light the brush. Skid plates are on order, 2 of 3 have arrived.
Mowed. A small celebration that the fertilizer I’ve put down, in response to doing an actual soil test (NPK and pH) is returning decent results.

No this is an older clothes dryer with manual knobs/button controls. 2 years ago i done this repair so i had insight going in lol. However I did make myself up a short jumper with male spades installed that in place of fuse and fired right up.
Installed a new toilet. Used my basic manual "turkey baster style" fluid extractor to empty the bowl.
I also used Right Stuff on a flange riser (tile floor) and almost used Mission silicone grease on the tank gasket, but wound up getting it to seat.
These are the things that happen when a gearhead attempts plumbing....

Last week I worked diligently on my hydro boost order until completed, and started testing units while I was finishing the modifications on the remainder of the batch. Then I faced .120" off 40 each M16 and M18 hydraulic fittings. Finished the work week doing a big order of link bars.
Got home at 4:30 am from picking a friend up from the airport on a SEVERELY delayed flight....I'm starting my first full time week on no sleep. I was on standby starting at 8:00 last night
