Hoping my boys will think the same. And side benefit of teaching them manual at the same time.Field cars are the best.

Started the old 83 CV80 scooter. Setting since October and it fired right up. I parked it since I was at my wits end trying to figure out the carb. Idles perfect but as soon as you gave it gas would fall on it's face, ran it with the choke on and seems better now.
Cleaned up some leaves around junk around where the old scooter was setting. A few things my wife told me to keep then asked me why I kept them.
Few more parts pulled/cut off the Farmstiva. Expertly rolled the edges with a pliers and a big hammer. Few more parts off and couple more on it'll be ready to take down next weekend. Needs a battery and belt.

Those are hard enough to troubleshoot in person!Trying to talk my non technical brother over the phone and texts through troubleshooting a dead Eurovan. Stupid
Ours always got oil changes every 3k. But I did roll the 90 auto.. jacked the roof up and tarred in a new windshield. Drove it another couple months till someone backed in front me totaling it again. The 1.3 Ltr. ( MAZDA 121 ) is one tough. Had 3 different FESTIVAs' . One was the 3 speed auto and 2 were with the 5 speed manual . Checked oil level of a '88 Festiva for an acquaintance and oil was below the LOW mark . Looked at the miles on it and was little over 30,000 miles . The oil was the factory fill and the oil / filter were changed shortly after . The car went on well over 130,000 miles and was likely abused more .
He's been calling shops all over Phoenix and no one will touch it. It's actually a Winnebago Rialta built on a Eurovan chassis. Last I heard from him he's getting quotes to have it shipped up to me in Seattle. Those are hard enough to troubleshoot in person!

Replaced passenger side CV axle assembly, front brake rotors and pads, rotated tires, changed oil.
Today I did some laundry and laid around because I wasn't feeling all that great.
I dislike garage door carnage. Bad things can happen when they get off.The garage door came crashing down after a freak accident. The car was halfway in when it happened, so the obstruction sensors aimed under the car instead of stopping the door. One of the torsion springs snapped, and the whole thing was about to smash the rear windshield when I jumped out, grabbed it mid-fall, and yelled for someone to back the car out.
Problem was, they couldn’t figure out how to start the **** thing. So I grabbed a 2x6 and jammed it in to hold the door up. That constant pressure ended up making things worse—cables jumped the rollers, the bottom panel got crushed, and the whole door blew off the tracks like a metal accordion. Nobody got hurt and the car didn’t get smashed, but the door is a goner. Other than that, it was a pretty slow day.

My daughter named the new shed "Gordon's" today. Some finishing touches later including a Wyze camera and solar light. The recycled materials shed is nearly finished. The back wall is remaining, and the front tarp walls.
