Any player that "adjusts" his strings while picking that fast is.... probably an alien who happens to like country music.
My Dad ordered a 45rpm record from a local record store of Roy Acuff and the Wabash Cannonball for me when I was a little kid. He wanted me to know what good music was.
Also love the Roy Rogers posters among all the other memorabilia behind him. Never met Roy, but I did get to see Dale Evans once! Watched them as a kid on TV.
I just got out of a scorching concert featuring Chuck Prophet and his Cumbia Shoes. Pretty dam awesome. Here's a sample.

Dire Straits (I'd never seen them in video, had no idea what they looked like, singer definitely does not look like his voice!) play incredibly well live. Led Zeppelin, same concert, were a letdown. Page looked high as a kite and the solo was kind of ass (quite unlike the guitar work by Dire Straits in the above video).
