We lost Phil Lynott 37 years ago today. He had his demons but was such a dynamic frontman and bassist. RIP.

Peter Frampton reunion with his first band, Humble Pie in honor of the late Steve Marriott.
Amazing dual guitars between Frampton + Clempson at the end.

There is a streaming documentarty going around now called The Life & Times of Steve Marriott.
I watched it all. It starts with him and Frampton knowing each other at very young ages and then covers the Small Faces and it ends with Frampton telling of how they were all ready to re-group original Humble Pie band and how in the middle of all the planning , Marriott died in a strange house fire alone.

According to my LP, the guy on the left is Andy Bown. Definitely looks alot like Jeff Beck!

Yeah, no doubt! This is from their first album that came out in 1965, so Marriott would've been 18.
