Her personal style is quite different than what she performs with Nightwish eh? I wasn't overly surprised though, because I've listened to After Forever and it's also not as heavy.

Was listening to this local band last night I found on YT searching for some recent Gordon Lightfoot appearances.
They are dang good. Lead singer/ band leader's vocals are stylised a bit like Lyle Lovett.
Very Nice pedal steel playing.
