Saw my man Elvin Bishop play many times in some fine shows in small / tiny bars and small concert venues. Loved his playing. He put on amazing shows , in small dives or arenas.

We once saw Jeff Beck play a full concert in the pouring rain in the mid 1970s. He refused to stop and so did the crowd. When he got done with his 2-3 encore songs, he tossed his big white Fender Stratocaster down to a person in the crowd. Different times for sure.
