What are you listening to right now?

What a masterpiece Mylène Farmer's text is: optimism and joy of live, immersion in the moment, giving way to growing and growing disgust, bordering existentialist nausea. All this playful, full of word-plays. I must admit that I do not quite understand the reference to Apollinaire's symbolist masterpiece Les Colchiques close to the end. Unanswered, unhappy love? Suicide by poison? Could also be that my French is a bit to rusty for any meaningful interpretation. In that case, one could still just enjoy the show.

Pure Prairie League - " Two Lane Highway " on XM Deep Tracks w/ Earle Bailey . He's on a roll .
I have the almost unobtainium PPL album "Live Takin The Stage" on a very rare RCA Cd. It has 20 songs on it. They were in the prime at that time. I searched for it a long time until a guy I used to talk to on an internet music site who managed some bands picked it up for me at a Trade Show he used to attend. He got me quite a few albums in Cd form that I was searching for. Another one was the Atlanta Rhythm Section LIve "Are You Ready" Out of print.

Are they the ones who did "Aimee"? I love that song! Reminds me of when I was a litter kid.

Yep. The country music star and master guitarist who recently joined The Eagles was even a member of the band Pure Prairie League who did the song Aimee. He sang the song during his time in the band.

OMG! That was fantastic!
Fantastic, Awesome, Sent chills up my spine and it still does even after watching it 4 times, I know Neil would have loved this, he and Portnoy were close friends. I can't really put into words how this video makes me feel. I hope they release more video from the show, there are a lot of cell phone videos from the audience but they don't capture the sound as well as this one that was taken straight from the mixing board at the show.

Here is another one from the board at the Bubba Bash show, this is Losing It, with Jonathan Dinklage on violin. He was in the R40 String Ensemble that Rush took with them on the R40 tour. It is hard to describe how excellent this is.
